You made me laugh out loud.
Too bad; I would have loved to rumpus with FLW.
If he had it would've been the smallest, most linear rumpus room ever.
I recently posted about the demise of the rumpus room.
dr mvm, stop schmoozing me already :).beth, I hear FLW was a fan of the rumpus.bubs, yes, but oh, the flow, the flow.chris, I did see that post. I could have sworn I commented on it, but it looks like I didn't. I was actually going to put "linen closet" in the Wright quote, but I was browsing some pictures of Falling Water and saw Wright had made a built-in linen closet for it. Curses! So, I actually had your post in my head when doing this quote. "Rumpus" is one of my favorite words, too.
You do Frank Lloyd Wright a disservice. He was all about Rumpus Rooms.
dr z, are you sure you're not thinking of Frank Gehry?
Why would someone even ask Wright for a rumpus room? And the only thing I think about when I say "rumpus room" is bumper pool. Which is cool, but still...
